This choker style necklace features a lovely borosilicate glass focal creation by lampwork artisan Brandie Rosenberry which has swirls of light blues and purples like a vast spreading landscape complete with a beautiful 5 o'clock sky. The focal bead is surrounded by a mix of opalite, glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass beads in silver, blue, and violet hues, with silver accents. The choker has a 3 inch length of thick sterling silver chain at the end for adjustment of size to fit your neck, with a teeny starfish and milky blue glass bead dangle accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
