Octopus Hideout

This loop pendant features an absolutely one-of-a-kind glass bead centerpiece by artisan glassworker from Margo Lampwork that has a lovely turquoise blue octopus straddling a seashell of black and raku patterns.
He (She?) is surrounded by various glass beads in blue and brown hues, natural Hemimorphite, Silvermist, and Zebra Onyx gemstones, and little silver accents. The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

The necklace looping is sturdy as always, but if you've got a serious yanker bear in mind that the focal bead on this one is glass and won't be able to sustain shocks like smashing against anything hard, so as for the nursing necklace strength, bear that in mind when buying if you've got a baby who is a particularly active grabber and smasher. This one may be better suited when baby is a bit past the trying-to-break-your-glasses distraction.
