Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Bee Dreams

This necklace features a really lovely borosilicate lampwork centerpiece with blooms in icy shades of ruby fuchsia, amber rose and opal green cherry sitting on a deep ruby red base with added drops of clear for more sparkle and texture. It was created by local master artisan, Kristan Child of Redside Designs and is surrounded by swirled borosilicate donut beads of irridescent pink and mixed green hues which have been deeply encased in clear for depth, with some carnelian gemstones and hot pink candy jade and some glass beads in orangish and amber honey hues, with some little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.

Necklace also looks great on a chocolate brown or tan cord. Just let me know by adding a Note To Seller when purchasing if you want a color of cord other than the black shown here!
